  • I spoke to Rita on the phone before going into her shop. She did not require that I make an appointment which was a relief. I wanted her professional opinion on one of the areas of my wedding dress, wondering if it needed to be altered. She was personable, professional, and did not mislead me. I was happy that she did not recommend unnecessary work and fees especially. In fact she was very easy to talk to and shared her background and experience as a dress maker. I will not need any alterations after all (thank goodness!), but I would highly recommend her to any of my friends/family. She is straight forward in a Chicago kind of way, some people can't handle that. I appreciate the no b.s. approach myself when businesses don't waste my time and money.
