  • Spent the weekend at the Delano. This was our first time here. We come to Las Vegas a lot as Platinum level M life members and have stayed at The Mandalay, Bellagio, Aria and the Hard Rock primarily in the past. The hotel has really interesting decor, a lot of weddings this last weekends. It's an upscale, non smoking hotel with suites only. No Casino. The Casino is located adjacent in the Mandalay Bay. The rooms are very modern with modern and subtle, soothing decor. The rooms are quiet and we enjoyed our stay. The reason it didn't get 5 stars was the shower pressure and water temperature seemed capped. Also, the menu while good and fresh. They emphasized Farm to Table...It needs a wider range of items especially for breakfast. They did not have steel cut oatmeal. The churro waffles with espresso mascarpone and organic strawberries was excellent. We had it both days. The complimentary fresh chocolate dipped strawberries and cheese plate from our host was excellent. We would definitely return. Our favorite room service menu is The Hotel at the Hard Rock ( hotel for VIP's) a separate tower at the hotel.
