  • this place is SO beautiful inside - i love it. it's like you just stepped into an an old victorian tea room where the Queen is going to be arriving soon. the decor is luxurious, and lavish. polished silver, white and eggshell blue is the colour scheme. chandeliers, tall candles, and comfy sofas and chairs make the place very upscale. such a stark contrast to the dark, modern, loft stylings of other places on King st. W. Gorgeous. the service was excellent and attentive. your drinks come with white chocolate, strawberries and dried fruit and nuts. VERY nice touch. given this, it is quite pricy $16 a drink, and the food is on the expensive side. i've never had the food here but it's all small serving/apas style, to give you an idea i think their cheese board was 5 cheese was like $30. there were maybe 3 tables there including ourselves. i would say this is an awesome place for a girls night, a romantic drink after dinner, a fancy drink with a client, or a special occasion. no other place like it on King st w.
