  • As I type this, I'm sipping on a cocktail I made at home from Old City's ginger soda, some leftover cranberry simple syrup from the holidays, and a splash of liquor. It has an amazing ginger bite. That's what I love about Old City's sodas: they're packed with flavor and not too much sugar. My absolute favorite is the cinnamon and the orange blossom is a close second, but they're all tasty. I'm also a huge fan of the pretzels here, but I must say that the basket of cinnamon sugar pretzel bites I ordered last time were definitely overcooked and not as good as those I've tried before. I'm looking forward to some better ones next time! The staff here is really great. They all seem to love what they do and take pride in the establishment and the beverages they serve. The ambiance is clean but inviting, chill but not pretentious. Definitely a great place to hit up if you're in Gordon Square!
