  • Dang. First time eating arepas and it was incredible. My girlfriend and I ordered everything with a star by the menu item (star indicating chef's recommendation). Each arepa is around $6 so it's not on the cheap side, but it was worth every penny. Our favorite was the corn and cheese plate (not sure if it actually is an arepa) and the chicken and avocado mix one. We ordered 6 dishes in total and devoured everything. One thing I wish they offered was a spicier sauce (I think I was in the King Taco mode) but honestly, the creamy and salsa-y sauce they offered were amazing. Tacos el Gordo was always at the top of my book, but I think it was just topped by Viva Las Arepas.
