  • The Swan & Firkin has the best, most consistently yummy nachos that I've had to date in Toronto. They're huge, and although a little pricey at $16, they come with loads of salsa, sour cream, and guacamole -- not just those little plastic ramekins. As for the other foodstuffs offered, I've had good experience with what I've ordered. Prices are standard and so are the menu choices, but I never leave wishing I'd just stayed home, made my own food, and saved the money. The last three times I've visited we've had the same server, a younger guy. He's super friendly, accommodating, and on the ball. I'd recommend S&F to anyone in Bloor West who is hungry and wants to pay for average prices for average pub food done well.
