| - I was a bit hesitant staying here for a night with my boyfriend after reading all the reviews, but we had already booked the room.
This hotel is a bit far from the Strip, but I liked being able to have a quiet place to stay and it was located next to cool Outlet that we got to check out before leaving Vegas; got a review posted for that already :)
So when we came in to check into our room, they had two doors to go through, which was hard enough with luggage let alone trying to figure out how a handicapped person would get through those doors. We waited for a bit with some other customers since the person at the front desk had stepped away. Once the attendant came out to assist all of us, it felt like she wasn't all there and kept looking at the movie playing on the television.
We finally got our room keys and used the small elevator to get to our room on the second floor. Once inside the room I was pretty pressed. Turned out that my boyfriend had gotten us a suite that included a pull out bed and a sink with cabinets in the middle of the room to divide the bedroom from the small living room per se. We had a fridge, wardrobe, a bench underneath the window, and a tv too, but there was no remote for it.
We got to use the indoor pool and had it all to ourselves. That and the gym were open 24/7 as long as you use your room key for the doors.
We wanted to take the free shuttle service to the Strip, but was given a list of hotels that we could park for free since we had our own car. So that was useful. And we were informed that there is free shuttle service to the airport as well as continental breakfast that was complimentary with our stay there.
When we eventually got back to our suite, the bed was really comfortable and the wall behind the bed was actually a mirror.
Breakfast the next day was good with this pancake making machine and the salsa that went really well with the sausage and eggs they had.
We did hit a snag in the elevator as we were trying to check out since we got the lobby button and instead of opening up when we got to that floor, the door stayed shut. It then brought us to the third floor where someone had pushed the button for it and then we eventually got to the lobby floor safely. Hate elevators!
