After driving around and searching for a different bakery and then calling and finding out it was a home business, I was determined to find a different bakery in the area and decided on this one. This one was also not easy to find because for some reason my phone gps insisted it was in the middle of the road. It wasn't! Was relieved to finally find it.
Felt a bit unwelcoming there and I'm not exactly sure why? Like the awkwardness of the guy behind the counter and my awkwardness didn't mix well? I don't know, but I felt rushed and he have me no input on any of the flavors and didn't tell me about the bakery or anything. But that's ok haha.
I decided to give a gluten free cupcake a try! Offered in a few different flavors, and I decided to try the pink champagne one because it it sounded fancy. He told me they were chilled and I should wait 15 minutes to eat it so then it will be room temperature. I'm sure the gluten free ones have to be preserved that way so I can't really complain hah. But staring at a cupcake for 15 minutes and not eating it sounds like sheer torture, so I waited like two and dug in because I prefer cold cake anyways! Sadly I felt it was a bit sub par. I had high hopes, was a little disappointed. It wasn't bad by any means, I enjoyed it. But idk, I had expected more I guess! Flavor was just meh, didn't taste like a fancy champagne cupcake. Tasted like one you could get at the grocery store. I feel bad talking about this place like this, but I just wasn't too impressed. Though maybe their regular cupcakes may be better! They had little "cake charm" things too that looked good. I wouldn't say don't ever try this place, I'd just say personally my experience was meh.
