| - Staples has been my go-to for anything to do with printers or office chairs for many years, and I've yet to be disappointed. They have great prices for printers, good prices on the office chairs & average for printer ink.
About a year ago, I purchased an office chair from them. It was a Serta, which blew me away because I thought Serta only made beds. Problem is that it's the most comfortable office chair I've ever owned and I've fallen asleep in it about 37 times. Before that I had purchased a decent chair and I've now decided to use them for new printers as they always have a deal on. I just bought one for half price ($50), free shipping. It is through their online store, but I have every option to deal with the store for the purchase.
The staff at this location have been nearly perfect to deal with. I dealt with a man at the mail counter for copies, Purolator etc a couple weeks ago that was absolutely top-notch at his job (Note to Staples : I don't recall his name, but he had a mustache/beard) and was very helpful and attentive to the multiple people he was dealing with. The lady that sold me my current chair was very nice. Checking on the type of printer that I was going to buy so I could still use the same ink I had in my non-functioning printer, I called the store again. I got through immediately to a man in the technology department and asked if a certain model used the type of ink I had, and without hesitation, he said yes. Knowledge is power. I can build a computer in my sleep, but printers are a pain in my butt.
I think they should change their name to Swingline Staples so I can giggle thinking of Office Space when I walk in. Their motto could be "I believe we have your stapler"
