My grandmother had a door to door salesman from Now Communications come to her home and offer a cheaper TV service through Direct TV. They had her sign a "contract" on a tablet, which she has yet to receive a copy of. Now Communications set up for installation on 4/13/2017. They spent the majority of their day at her home attempting to install the Direct TV. She is a current Comcast customer with her phone and internet. During the install they went into her basement several times messing with different wire, and they set up her satellite. During the installation some how the phone and internet completely stopped working. The installers blamed it on her modem, which worked fine up until they started messing with her connections. They then proceeded to tell her that she just had a bad modem. They left her residence and never finished installing the Direct TV, the bedroom TV was never connected and the living room TV keeps losing connection. She contacted Now Communications again and they set up for another technician to come out on Saturday 4/15/2017 between 9 and noon, and they never showed up. In order to assist my 80 year old grandmother I called Now Communications on Saturday and told them that she would like to cancel the services without paying and fees since they never held up their end of the deal. The lady at Now Communications (Carrie) told me she was going to contact a supervisor and placed me on hold. After being placed on hold, the phone rang back to them and someone else picked up, they placed me on hold again. After being on hold for a couple minutes I was transferred to Direct TV. I called Now Communications back again and she thought she put me on hold, but she didn't. She then had a conversation with the other employee making derogatory remarks about me. I called them back and told them I heard everything they had said and it was completely unacceptable. They said they would call us back and they still have not.
