| - My friends and I have been coming to Vegas for many years now and have tried many upscale fine dining restaurants, but this was the first time we'd tried French Food here.....and by the end of the meal, we were all in agreement that this was perhaps the best meal we have ever had in all our years of visiting Vegas. Ambiance was upscale, elegant, and classy, views of the strip were awesome, service was excellent....but most notable were the wonderfully delicious dishes we had ordered....and with a nice bottle of wine to go with it all. Yes, this place is not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for.
Everything was so fresh, perfectly cooked, flavorful, and artfully presented. For our dinner, we didn't want to fill up too much before a show we were attending, so we ordered a Market Greens salad which came with Avocado, Sunflower Seeds, Sherry Walnut Vinaigrette. For Entrees, my friends ordered the Individual Eiffel Tower Beef Wellington and Rossini Style Filet Mignon with Foix Gras and Truffle Sauce. I went with the Boneless Chicken Breast with Fingerling Potatoes Jus de Poulet.
The market salad was so fresh, so beautifully presented......really enjoyed the Avocado and Sherry Walnut Vinaigrette. As for the mains, my friends were so impressed that the first comments from their mouths were "mmmmm....So melt-in-your-mouth Good!" I was equally impressed by my chicken and particularly enjoyed the sauce that came with it.....yummy!
Service was excellent throughout as we were so well taken care of by our server David. Oh, and we were so glad he mentioned at the very beginning that if we wanted to order the Souffle dessert that we should do it by the time our food came out as it takes 30 minutes to make......we did exactly that and went ahead and ordered the Grand Marnier Souffle. Oh boy! I have tried truly outstanding souffles before, but this beats them all, hands down! Even my friends who are more of dessert people than I said this was the best they have ever eaten!
Overall a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our only regret is that we came a bit early when it was still light outside. If it were dark, the views of the city lights and Bellagio fountains would have just completed a perfect dining experience.....which was finished off with little desserts at the end of the meal....which I believe I heard them referred to as "Petit Fours" .....? Whatever they were called......very nice touch to end a wonderful meal!
As one would expect, the ET is not cheap.....even the wines run from just under a hundred to thousands!.....so be sure to reload your credit cards!
