| - Buyer Beware!!!! Not only did Miguel, the owner of this company, stand me up for our appointment, but I made that appointment well in advance of the day that I required the service. I called 2 weeks in advance to schedule. During that call I was quoted an extreme high price for the repair of 2 holes. Despite that high price, I agreed to the service because I needed it done. Miguel assured me, in typical slick talking salesman fashion, that I would have nothing to worry about and that the repairs would be made including paint (that I had to purchase in advance for him) "no problem, and like new." During that call Miguel never even bothered to get my address, but he was over exaggerating in his assurance to me, again just like any dishonest slick talking high promising salesman, that he would be there. I heard nothing from him during the 2 weeks that went by, so I called him Tuesday prior to the Saturday 9 am appointment that he'd agreed to. First) He didn't even remember speaking with me 2 weeks prior. I had to remind him of the price he quoted me, the work involved (in detail and if I knew how to make the repairs in such detail as was required to remind this man of our conversation I would have made the repairs my damned self), and had to ask that he honor his commitment to me. Second) Again, in typical dishonest salesman fashion, he said, "oh yes, yes I can do it and we'll be there Saturday at 9am." No surprise at this point that his recollection of our conversation and his commitment over the phone to do the work was a complete lie. Third) I wasted 2 weeks of my time TRYING to give this company work and money. He lied to me repeatedly, despite that I had to remind him repeatedly that he'd even spoken to me, and then he completely stood me up on the Saturday that he was supposed to show up to do the work. Lastly) He didn't even give me the courtesy of a call despite that 9am turned into 9:30am, and then 10am, at which point he didn't even bother to answer my call nor did he bother to call me back ever and at any point.
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! I would NOT under ANY circumstance recommend this company for anything. It's appalling that someone cares so little, if at all, about his business and/or his customers or potential customers. My advice: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The owner is dishonest and undependable, and I truly believe that in the many times that I HAD TO CALL HIM, because he didn't care enough about me as a customer to ever call me, he was stone drunk. He sounded drunk every time that I talked to him with the exception of once, and he never bothered to even remember speaking to me at any point as a result, I believe, of being drunk in the middle of the day. Horrible service. Horrible company. Horrible interaction. I wish I could give this company negative stars. If I were you, I'd immediately look elsewhere for a company that actually cares about having customers and treating those customers with respect. You will find none of that by using Affordable Drywall Repair.
