  • very disappointing. My view was the roof and the roof hardware. the pool was closed. the front desk was not helpful. when I first entered there were no prompts on where to go. no help getting luggage to room and I had to wait in line again to ask where my room is. not much food choices, I went to other casinos for after first day and a half. I was here in early 2000 which was real nice. I had a nice room and staff was friendly and helpful. They used to have nice waterfalls and pools that were relaxing and great food choices. what happened? the place sucked. I liked the old Tropicana which was just remodeled in early 2000. I di not get to relax between conferences. Unfortunately a lot of conferences in my field are at the Tropicana. I will still go for conferences but will stay elsewhere. also there was no coffee maker, no fridge and few channels. As I said no pool due to it being closed for the week.
