  • I'm currently searching for a new nail salon near my residence that I may visit frequently. I've seen this one during random stops at Ulta or Marshall's so I figured I would give it a try. It's really pretty on the inside but... Yeah... No, but allow me to explain. The nail tech pressed the nail clipper into my nail in order to cut it... Resulting in her clipping some skin underneath (ouch). She asked if it hurt but then didn't apologize. There wasn't any blood so I allowed her to proceed. The pedicure was basic (to say the least). EVERYONE knows that the most beneficial part of a pedicure is the massage.... Mine was nearly non-existent as my nail tech preferred to whisper and point (towards two male customers), so really it just took her a long time to rub in my lotion. Now I normally can overlook a small pinch mistake (sometimes) and a lazy massage (not really) but there was one thing that made me cringe. Whenever a customer was finished getting a pedicure, their nail tech would only remove the plastic covering before inviting someone else over to sit in the chair. They would not clean the foot bowl between the customers and would only place another cover inside of it. Keep in mind, in order to let out the water, my nail tech poked a hole in the bottom of the plastic (with the cuticle tool) and into the drain! That ladies and gentlemen is F'ING GROSS! I will not be returning and I'm soaking my feet in my tub with soap, water and a small dose of vinegar. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!
