This is a classy and romantic place with mid-century-hollywood glam decor, reminiscent of the 1970's-80's. Black, white, chrome with red accent and subdued lighting. The food and service was amazing. We chose this place to celebrate our anniversary based on the PBS program "Check Please" rather than go to a chain restaurant, like Carrabbas. The lasagna was made with homemade fresh noodles and was amazing. Light and very tasty and filling without the "ugh" I ate too much feeling after you eat lasagna made from heavy packaged pasta. The swordfish with capers and wine sauce was delish, as well. The desert sampler, tiramisu, flan and cannoli was just right and I felt like I was back home in South Philly. Service was impeccable and we were treated like family (a healthy family). The owner/chef comes around and greets everyone too. The diners were a mixed group of ages and dress-casual to dressy...very diverse which speaks to its reputation. My husband had pre-ordered a flower arrangement which was on our table when we arrived. This was a memorable and romantic dining experience...we will certainly go back!
