Although it's one of the biggest grocery stores in the city, this Superstore provided one of the worst shopping experiences I've had here. You actually have to pump in a dollar just to use a cart if you can even find one. Then you have to fight a horde of people as they fight with one another for damaged products. The whole thing was crazy, really. Yeah, the prices are okay but it's not worth it for the indignity one has to suffer.
By the time we made it to the check-out, I was lucky to still have my patience in tact. We were lined up at what looked like a mile of cash registers all packed with people lugging carts heaped over with food. It was like being at the ports to be deported somewhere. In the background a baby was crying as the mother tried to comfort it. In front of us, the border guard (cashier) was surly and trying to hurry us through. I even think the guy next to me had live chickens in his cart. Then we had to bag all of our belongings ourselves and pay for the bags....
Anyway, go there for an adventure if you're bored some day.
