  • It's seems Vegas isn't only a place for gambling, shows and high end eateries. Apparently candy shops are in full demand here - LOL. I had to go in to see what could be so intriguing about a huge candy shop on the strip, and hey let's face it my sweet tooth was aching to get in. Plenty of browsing to be had here. Aisles of humor branded sweets and odd ball candies. Most of it you will just look at and be like ohh ok - well they made this. It was cool to see the inner workings of the kitchen, always fascinating to me. You can get a private tour, but you can also see plenty from the open counter. They will also hand out some samples of chocolates of the world. WARNING - most if it is pure chocolate and is not very sweet, but more bitter as natural cocoa or dark chocolate would be. Still, can't pass up some freebies - right?! Cookie / Ice Cream bar looked great. There is a wall of pick your own candy and bag it to customize your sugar binge. Souvenirs are a plenty as usual in any shop in Vegas. I liked the lip tattoos especially. I saw someone wearing one and had to do a triple look. It's really freaky if you didn't realize its a temp tattoo. Love the note on the back saying they tested them on supemodels, not animals - too funny! In the end it was a lot of super sugar with a price tag. But hey worth a look see when touring the strip.
