  • I had a beautiful 18k gold and diamond tennis bracelet that I got on a trip to Dubai years ago. I felt that the links around the clasp looked loose and I wanted it repaired. The clasp itself was so tight I couldn't get it off without assistance. My husband took it in to the neighborhood jewelry store, Scottsdale Fine Jewelers on Via Linda and Mt. View, to be checked and repaired if needed. They kept the bracelet overnight and then sent it home with my husband pronouncing it "safe". Well guess what, the bracelet fell off my arm somewhere. I wore it everyday, so where it was lost is a mystery. I have turned my house upside down and called every single place I've been for the last two weeks. To me this bracelet is irreplaceable. Not returning to Dubai any time soon, if ever. Don't trust Scottsdale Fine Jewelers, and unlike the lady with the Bee pin that was a family heirloom, Scottsdale Fine Jewelers charged me...a lot!!! Can't trust their work, so I wouldn't trust what they're selling either. I wouldn't bring my dog's collar in there!!
