| - I lived here for roughly 1.5 years in two different apartments. The management was nice and helpful throughout my entire stay. There is covered parking for the residents, but it can get a little rough for guests that come over (risk parking in some of the unused covered spots, grab one of the few uncovered spots or park next door at the bar), so keep that in mind if you decide to rent here.
The first apartment I lived in was on the third floor, and it was probably my best apartment experience ever. No noise from neighbors, and no issues whatsoever besides a few general apartment maintenance issues. I had to move out of this unit because I was in the process of looking at houses, and in the midst of things, didn't re-sign my lease in time.
My second apartment was on the second floor near the exit, and apparently this side is where all of the college kids were at. The management was probably starting to get a little annoyed with how many times I was complaining, but notices were dished out and eventually most (but not all of) the noise finally ceased. Really, do you have to turn your bass up at 3am? Fockers.
Besides the noise, the apartments themselves were pretty nice. There are a lot of cabinets everywhere, and there's even locked storage outside on your patio. They had (still have?) a trash service where, during a certain time frame, you're allowed to leave bagged trash near the bottom of the stairs for pickup (or else, you have to take them to the dumpster near the middle/rear of the complex). Pretty convenient if you ask me, but there were those who took advantage by letting their trash sit outside all day for next morning's pickup, so get used to seeing some trash throughout the property at any time of day.
The apartment is at a decent location, especially if you work nearby or along the light rail. The light rail stop is just east of the apartments on Priest and Washington. FYI the traffic light at the entrance takes forever unfortunately because of the light rail. Need a drink? Stop by everyone's favorite dive bar, Draw 10, for fantastic drink specials.
