  • STAY AWAY from this DISHONEST and HORRIBLE Budget rental. I could give a negative 10 if I could. Here are the reasons: 1. DISHONEST quotes to start. They quote you a lower price than competitors, but will figure out a bunch of reasons to over charge you. In my case, they charged over 50% more than the quote in the confirmation contract. The rude and horrible agent even was even threatening to charge cleaning fee. Hello, I have been renting all over the world with all kinds of rental car companies, including some demanding ones in Iceland, this was the first time such an horrible agent trying to even raise such a ridiculous issue. Unless you prepare to actually pay double the amount they quote you in the first place, stay away from this dishonest business. 2. The pick up and drop off line is LONG LONG LONG. I mean super LONG. Prepare to wait for SEVERAL HOURS and once you get the car, it could be a one without plate. You have to rejoin the LONG line again. You could waste half day of your precious vacation time just to pick up or drop off a car. Even worse, they will figure out a way to charge you overtime while you are waiting in line. 3. The agents are sneaky, rude and unprofessional. They will threaten you with all kinds of charges when you return your car. 4. No free shuttle service. In case you think they advertise for free shuttle service in a downtown location, too bad, the shuttle isn't running. In my case, I had to to spend my own money on taxi back to my hotel. In short, I will never rent with Budget at Las Vegas based on my experience. I wish I knew before I search for rental car. I hope other renters will stay away from this horrible car rental.
