| - Let me preface this review by saying my experience here is generally positive I've been coming here for 2-3 years now... But on Sunday some things happened that have made me rethink my go-to car wash... I'm so mad about it, it took me a day to cool off before I could write the review. Here we go:
Let's start with the pre wash area. Guy came up asked me what I wanted, asked for an ultimate wash, and as my two add on's I requested leather treatment, and tire shine; he wrote down disinfect and dust protection. This part I let slide, it was busy. People make mistakes. But it did irritate me when i eventually noticed long after I had paid. (And tipped... Won't be pre-tipping ever again)
My car was not vacuumed, period. There were french fry crumbs on the floor and a bunch of tiny rocks and dirt that collect from my shoes. I put all my garbage in abag for them so all they had to do was toss it, which I explained, it was not done. My dash is covered in dust (so much for dust protection), I had to ask them to whipe my windshield because it was so smeared with whatever cleaner that I literally could not see. And I watched at least 4 people drive off without the writing whipped off their window. I didn't bother to make them re-do it, and after I explain what happened next you will understand why.
I drive a manual car. When the chap came to move my car up (who was new apparently) he didn't release the handbrake and stalled my car not once, not twice, not three, but 5 times. I started yelling after his second attempt because no one was helping him. They all sat there laughed and watched him struggle and damage my vehicle. I'm not mad at the kid who stalled my car. (Well I am, but it's not his fault his team let him down) I mean I get it, manuals are rare in 2018. Most millennials don't know what a manual is, but you shouldn't put him in a situation where he's humiliated like that, damages my vehicle and is left to struggle; as one employee with long dread locksput it; "he's gotta learn somehow" it's true, he probably should learn, but teaching someone with other people's vehicles is a big fat no-no. A helpful young gal finally came to his aid after his 5th attempt and my increasingly angry shouting.
He could have damaged my breaks, he did put considerable wear on my clutch (you could smell it). When I finally got my car back I saw that it hadn't been cleaned, that coupled with the incident leading up to it made me so mad I told the kid thanks, got in my car and drove away. I'm so dissatisfied I stopped payment on my credit card for my 42 dollar car wash... Also word to the wise, don't pre-tip. A, because you can't take it back if they do a crap job, and B, because they announce how much you tip to each other as you get in the car.
I usually visit on weekdays, perhaps that's the key to this place. Doesn't matter...
Edit: I have still not been contacted by the manager, though he seems to be responding to the positive reviews posted after mine... I took my vehicle to the dealership to have the clutch examined. It received considerable wear and has a completely flat spot. Luckily it doesn't need to be replaced yet, but the fact that I may need to replace a clutch plate on a 2016 vehicle with less than 10k on the clock is very upsetting.
