  • I'm in town for part business and part vacation and I booked this place because it was central to where I needed to be for business but also across from the LightRail subway and public transit is nearby. So, convenience - it's a great deal, however, most of Main Street here in Mesa is not the ideal place for the business traveler - but very accommodating if you're en route and need solace to sleep midway of where you possibly would be going. With some imagination, this place could be renovated to be a better situation than it is currently. There is a pool, I've seen a few people use, if you have kids then this would be a place they could enjoy some water fun. Most units come with a kitchenette, and again, for you long travelers - this could be beneficial. Though, you may need to use your own cookware and utensils as you won't find much in the kitchen. To be honest - I didn't use any of the kitchenette other than to warm up food or to store food - there's a small fridge available. The bathroom is small, if your a bigger build type of person, it may feel confining - even the shower is a bit of a standup small coat room sized situation. The bed was comfy, sheets clean, and the AC is right above the bed - good news, it works fine! Comes with a remote, though, if you are the type that needs silence to sleep, then don't use it, it's pretty dated and has a loud hum. The staff were nice enough though not very welcoming. You may have to turn on the charm to get a conversation. The TV did not work for me - good news for me since I don't like watching TV, but the wifi didn't work for me ( my iPhone has much for me to keep me occupied ), but I couldn't find anyone at the front desk, on a whim, I bought new batteries and now I can watch some entertainment. All in all, I won't be here again in any near future situation but for those of you who are looking for something really cheap and conveniently located near public transportation - then yes, consider this place. The LightRail is cheap and easy to navigate. I was able to visit Phoenix, Scottsdale, & Tempe. Also, if you use Lyft, the wait was not long at all and the drivers are super cool. I think three stars is fair because overall, what this place was intended for my use (an affordable and central place to sleep at), it's served its purpose. Welcome to Arizona! :)
