Note that this Philthy's is pretty much like the others in the franchise. It's a definite sports bar style hangout with all your usual fixtures; TVs, sports-bar menu of nachos, wings, etc, etc, and so on. What makes this place stand out from the others is the layout.
The main bar zigs and zags across the front wall and provides a central point for all who walk in. Separate from that is a main dining area with a raised stage area that not only provides a bit of depth to the venue, but also allows them to clear off tables from the space for DJs, comedy shows, or bands. As this is a stand-alone strip-mall franchise, anything that makes it something other than ordinary goes a long way. I've had the privilege of performing there and had a dandy time doing it. If they could only control the echo and the amount of alcohol in the hecklers. The wings be tasty as well.
