  • DO NOT EAT anything from the case at this Starbucks. While waiting a long time in line to buy a pound of coffee, I was looking in the glass case that holds all of the food offerings. I noticed mold growing on the food in the case. After paying for my coffee, I asked to speak to someone about it. I wanted to be discreet when talking to the Starbucks staff. I informed them that they might want to clean out the case as there was mold growing on the food contained in the case. I was very surprised when the person I spoke to got very defensive, saying that they knew it was a problem and they do clean the cases. I replied that they might just want to remove the molded food so that customers standing in line would not have to see it. Again, the person shot back with a snippy "we do clean the cases, sir." So, eat at your own risk!
