| - LOVE this location - but they are making a change that's strange.....
First, I have been coming to this location for years. Dr. Jim, Pam, everyone here is wonderful. It's a friendly location, where I get a great adjustment and am in and out quickly. LOVE it! 5 stars for the staff, location and efficiency at this location!
HOWEVER....They are now being asked to "stack" (my word) patients in the treatment area. So, even though the doctor was working with a patient, I was was asked to go back and get situated on the second treatment table/bench and wait there for my adjustment.
This seems very...invasive. Dr. Jim was having a conversation with the patient he was adjusting about his (the patient's) physical issues. It feels intrusive to be just laying there while they have that discussion. I don't really want to hear that info, nor do I want another patient listening in on what my physical issues are. (I could try to "not listen" but when that conversation is happening literally 2.5- 3 feet away, it's kind of hard.) It was so weird that I opted to wait my turn in the lobby, standing by the reception desk....2 stars for this weird turn of events.
I don't know if they are testing this, or if this is the procedure going forward. I honestly hope it's not as it makes me very uncomfortable at a place I generally look forward to going.
Update: thanks Christina, for your response. Im glad it works for some but for me its uncomfortable and intrusive. I doubt I will get used to it.
