Stayed in this hotel for the Steelers game over Christmas and primarily selected it for its proximity to Heinz Field, as well as the affordable rate as compared to some of the other hotels nearby.
The hotel is only about a 10 minute walk to Heinz which is its biggest selling point. It comes with complimentary breakfast which was edible but nothing great (tastes like cafeteria food at best). The rooms have thin windows and you can easily hear all of the highway noise, which is louder than the background noise I get in my NYC apartment. The rooms are spacious but a bit barren and the sheets/comforter aren't the most comfortable.
All in all, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel is a good value for the price you pay. Just keep expectations low and all will be well.
