| - Wednesday lunch. 3 person party. Seated immediately @ noon. Waited on immediately. Drinks with the quickness. Atmosphere is chill. Has a Hawaii/So Cal beach vibe - like Islands but less corporate.
Burgers are enourmous. Had the Jalapeno Popper Burger, medium rare and subbed in onion rings. Burger was alright. Had a charbroil-flavor overtone to it, which, unfortunately was the predominate flavor. Also, there's too much going on with this burger. Massive amount of guacamole, little fired pieces of jalapenos seated within the guac and well, you need a knife and fork to eat it. I never have a problem with the size of a burger - it's a beautiful thing.
Going to try a more simple, straight-forward burger next time but if the overly-charbroiled flavor persists the second round, it'll be my last visit. I'm optimistic.
It's in line with Scottsdale Old Town pricing - $16 for a badass burger. Cheaper burgers are to be had, and for me, the next time will be less extravagant, which will obviously be better on the ole pocket book.
