| - Solutions Specialists Jacob and Chris as well as Manager Matthew did a great job describing my various wireless internet and cable tv options. Though I really had no interest in the home security accessory -- which in retrospect seems to have considerable value to me, I signed up for it anyway as part of a promotional 'net/cable bundle to save a substantial amount of money. Trying to fully understand all the essential financial and legal agreements as well as setting up accounts with multiple passwords, arranging emergency contacts, learning system troubleshooting procedures, etc., isn't exactly a "day at Disney." But I guess that's the price you pay for what I'm confident will prove to be quality products and services at a reasonable price!
The rather complicated installation of leading-edge technology was done this morning -- fast, right, and with a smile. Jared, Pablo, and Chris were highly knowledgeable, friendly, and patient as they thoroughly explained how to optimally use the main features of the various equipment pieces. (Even giving me their direct line to call should I have any questions in the future.) This is the BEST experience I've ever had for a professional home setup on anything!
Initially, all systems seem to be running extremely well. As a scientist, however; I need to wait awhile to satisfy myself about the capability and reliability of everything. So look for a followup review down the road!
Last but certainly not least, several years ago I had the pleasure of meeting one of the Cox executives at a product unveiling event. While we were discussing my internet and cable requirements/concerns, his aide came up to inform him that a baseball hall-of-fame celebrity guest was waiting on stage. The exec said, "I'll be there in a few minutes. Right now I'm doing something even more important: listening to a potential customer. Which made up my mind then and there that I would someday do business with this fine company. Well today I finally have. And I hope you're reading this belated thank-you "Mr. M," for the courtesy and respect you showed me. It's finally paying off!!
