  • This store's customer service is horrible. They are in liquidation and all sales are final...I get it, but does that mean I have to accept any type of service from them!!! I do not have the ability to rate them a zero or I would have. I went to the store on 3/38/18 to look at the merchandise that they had left and purchased a refrigerator. It was in perfect condition. No damage. I was advised that I would be receiving one that no one has touched in the packaging...even better. I was set to have a delivery today at 7am and when the refrigerator arrived, the glass shelving inside was broken. A little irritated at this point, the delivery driver advised me that they would take it back because it was damaged and when the store opened I could let them know and schedule for a new one. Ok fine. An hour later someone from the delivery team called me to advise that they were aware of the situation and would be notating my account. I asked who would be responsible for this and they advise the store will handle. I called the store once they opened and was advised that the manager was not available and would call me back in 15minutes. An hour went by with no call so I decided to call back. I was told that there are no more refridgerator's like the one that I had and I could come back in to get a refund. I advised that I do not want a refund all I want is the one I picked out replaced. Was told that it was not possible and that they are closing in three days and they want to give my money back. This started a whole issue with Sears at this point for me. I was given the nationwide customer number which I called and was given a lot of finger pointing. I spoke with Angel, Duke, Faith and Amy and they all advised that there is nothing I can do. There is no way that the answer I was given is acceptable. Sears as a company is not going out of business (as of now anyway) so why cant the DELIVERY company take care of the situation. I didn't break it and it wasn't broken when I was in the store. Sears national customer service and policies are horrible.
