  • This DavidsTea location is beautiful, with a gorgeous white brick wall and a lovely seating area at the front. As with all DavidsTea establishments, the staff inside were super friendly and helpful, offering samples of the Coffee Cake tea from the latest Winter collection, and making suggestions and recommendations (aka upselling). While the majority of the teas at Davids smell amazing (ask for a sniff from any of the jars that line the walls), I find that some of the flavoured teas can be a bit hit or miss -- some have a lingering aftertaste that can be unpleasant. My sister ended up buying some of the "White Chocolate Frost" tea, and it tasted good, but lined the cup with an eerie green ring. With the holiday season approaching, there are lots of gift options for tea lovers and aficionados, ranging from tea sampler packs to teapots and travel mugs. They also make beverages to go, including tea lattes, if you want to warm your hands with a hot beverage during a stroll down Roncesvalles. If you're driving, try finding parking on a nearby side street to avoid parting with your change at the meter.
