  • When I see escargot on a menu, I never pass it up!!! Escargot Sautéed with garlic and a creamy gorgonzola cheese baked in a puff pastry with a spicy mustard sauce....YUM! Wow. Enjoyed it so much. There also was a drizzle of a sweet strawberryish sauce in the sides of the plate. Oh so nice. A gentle blend of flavors that simply melted in my mouth! Puff pastry was a tad undercooked, but only a tad. It was too good...I want to go back and have more. I was debating on veal Marsala or the stuffed pork chop with prosciutto. The waiter suggest a non-menu item: veal parmigiana. So I went with that. Never had it like this. I did wish I ordered the Marsala. That being said it was very good. Tomato sauce was so fresh. I did like the leaves of fresh basil I could mix in with the meal. Made a huge difference. The thinly prepared veal was sitting on a bed of spaghetti flat noodles. A nice portion. The veal...each bite, every single one, tasted tender and had a mellow flavor. (I do. It think they were breaded). What I am trying to say is that each bite tasted identical. Yes! Each bite was equally tender. Each piece of meat was wonderfully prepared before cooking. Service was friendly and service was done in a timely manner. I had forgotten what cheese was in the escargot, before it arrived and asked the waiter. He did not know. That surprised me a bit. Someone did order the stuffed pork chop. Came sliced resting in a clear mushroom sauce. He said it was a little dry but tasty and the sauce was not as flavorful as he would have liked. Overall...he liked it!
