Convenient location if you are visiting the snow on Mt. Charleston. They allow dogs for an additional fee ($25) which is a great option.
Once you are there, there are no other stores or shops anywhere so be prepared (bring water, snacks, etc). The coffee shop wasn't open when it was supposed to be (10 am on a Sunday - supposed to be 24hrs) and there is no room service at all but stated on website there is.
There is so much that could be done with this place to make it amazing! Evening entertainment somewhere on the grounds would be fantastic (a musician, movie nights, anything in addition to the bar they have for adults as there are many families and kids) and a nice upgrade of room furnishings would make a huge difference.
The food in the restaurant is good but they are understaffed for the amount of people that come through. You need to make reservations at any time as there is just not enough staff.
For a location that corners the market they don't need to do much to always stay busy in winter but a few upgrades (new furniture, more staff, etc) would make it a hot spot people can't wait to come back to!
