| - What a damn, damn shame!
So, so unnecessary, and I'm sorry it really turned out this way.
This morning, just moments ago, I had to say goodbye to this facility, the Full Circle Autowash that I have done business with for many years. In fact, I consider many of the employees there my friends. Especially the ladies that dry off your car after going thru the car wash. I have been a SplashPass member for a very long time, but this morning, that all came to a screeching halt.
The manager on duty was completely unprofessional with what transpired on property.
As I usually do every few months or so, is I get my truck detailed there. In and out; Very nice, great service. Usually I get it done pretty quickly because during the week their detail garage is nearly empty. This Friday morning, pretty much the same. As usual, I drive my vehicle around back and chat with the employees on what kind of deal I can get. Today, was no different. The verbal deal was agreed to, and then written up. I signed the official Full Circle Autowash document and went inside to pay. And here is where it gets ugly. For some reason, that "deal," both verbal and in writing could not be "honored" by the on duty manager inside. He then proceeds to tell me why that deal could not be honored and long story short. He offered me another "deal" which was just an additional $20 more than what was negotiated outside by one of his employees, I guy who has been there for a long time.
This manager this morning kept interrupting me, every time I tried to speak to him and I told him he was disrespectful in how he was treating me, a loyal customer of many years. He said he felt as if I was disrespect towards him, so I apologized to him in front of another employee that was present. I let him have his moment to explain why he could not honor the deal that was before him in writing, signed, and then I tried once more to explain my position. Again, he interrupted not letting me get my point across. This manager was extremely sensitive and rude and tried to get this new deal passed, but after reflection, I figured that I could no longer trust leaving my truck there with him. After that rude and confrontation behavior of this man, how could I possibly trust him with my truck over the next few hours. Not gonna happen. I walked out, no deal.
I walked out front to say goodbye and provide my last $20 tip to the women out front; telling them I'll miss them all and that I could never come back here. They were sad to see me go. I told them that they are extremely professional in how they conduct themselves and maybe, just maybe, their manager could learn a few things from them.
I drove away; I'll never go back there.
So that is My Deal here now.
I cancelled my credit card so they can't hit it up again for my monthly SpalssPass fee and will now look for another facility. Anybody know of a good one, that is rated much better than the Two Stars this place has earned on Yelp?
I'm on vacation at the moment, life is good, and I have all the time in the world to shop around.
In summary, this facility is not what it used to be. This manager needs to go, or at least go back to this company's Charm School; if they have one? I would hate to think that this place has adopted the old "bait-and-switch" method on squeezing out more money from ANY of their customers.
Avoid this place! Not worth the aggravation dealing with an obnoxious manager that will not let you speak and tries to turn it upon you, that YOU are the problem. Not gonna happen. They are not the only game in town.
Two Thumbs Down!
