  • I'm not from Louisiana. That being said, I love this place. The food is always great! The fried pickles are AMAZING. The fried green beans are a close second. Fried cat fish is the best I have EVER had. All fish dishes I have ordered have been cooked and seasoned perfectly. For dessert, if you have room, the peach bread pudding with rum sauce makes my taste buds scream with joy! :D Caution: If you are on a diet, avoid this place. There are a couple of grilled dishes but most dishes are either fried, buttered and/or smothered in deliciousness. YUM!
