The only reason Pogues is successful is because of location. They have virtually no competition in the neighborhood to speak of. All of the government employees in the building go here for a quick (yet subpar) lunch or dinner.
The food is terribad and the manager, (Sherri?) doesn't seem to care that her kitchen screws up the most basic dishes (cob salad without egg?) She doesn't need to care. The beer menu is disappointing to say the least.
The service is just okay. It's noisy as all-get-out. DO NOT go here for breakfast.
