  • Yes, this is a bridge. It is a covered bridge. It is, unfortunately, no longer one that may be accessed by (motorized) traffic, and it is actually one that cannot be easily accessed by any sort of traffic - either you can park in the nearby lot, and take a nice stroll (or perhaps bike) to the bridge, or there is another access from the back side, but neither allows you to cross in a car. Not sure if this is for safety reasons, but it is what it is. Whatever the case, this is a nice bridge, and it is in excellent shape - perhaps due to the fact that it is not easily accessed by anyone and certainly not by motorized traffic. Being off the beaten path means that you can spend your time checking out the bridge, watching the stream below or just hanging out for a moment or two before returning to life in the current century. Definitely worth a look if you are in the area.
