  • I had a horrible flood in my house that destroyed the ceiling down stairs, the floor and floorboards. Upstairs the laminate had lifted in my bedroom and closet and what was left is still sitting on the floor. One cabinet is ruined. Liberty Mutual sent a girl out to "evaluate" the damage and said she knew a guy who could put the house right. So, she shows up and the estimator is 35 minutes late. The estimator from Thistle, Alex did not measure anything, take notes or ask any questions. When I called him for his bid, he responded by saying that actually there was no bid. He and Alyssa from Liberty contrived the deal between them. He stated that Thistle DKI is an "approved vendor" for Liberty Mutual. So, contrary to what I was led to believe, Alex was not ever planning on actually having the work done in my house and he had no intention of providing any level of service to me, the policy holder (for 26 years). He and Alyssa cooked up the most insulting "estimate." Perhaps this company does quality work, I'll never know.
