| - Had interior of my house painted. The painters were pleasant, but were in big hurry to finish, because they are paid by the job.
They did not use any tape, so many lines weren't straight. When I asked about this the painter seemed offended, saying he has had many years of experience.
I paid extra to have a special zero, no smell paint because of respiratory problems. They messed up an area that was not supposed to be painted and we didn't have any extra paint with that color. The painter said he could match it up and correct it.
After 2 weeks he came back and started painting with a color that wasn't even close. It smelled so strong, I started to have difficulty breathing. We stopped him right away and couldn't believe the color that he was putting on the wall. It was not even close to the original color. Then 2 more weeks passed and he brought another paint that he said matched the chip he removed, but that didn't match either and smelled very strong again.
After several phone calls, the project manager finally gave us a small discount. Certainly not enough to have that area, which was supposed to match our fireplace, repainted.
We are now in a dilemma, because the paint was a metallic color and 2 areas of our living room don't match. More than a month has passed since this fiasco.
Yesterday, my husband leaned a light rubber handled stool against the wall and the paint came off with it. One would think that after all of this time, the paint would have dried. It makes us wonder about the quality of paint used in our home.
Also. they didn't clean up well after the job was supposedly finished.
We had 2 other jobs in line for this company and now have to look for another painter to correct these problems in our home. They left paint on the floor and in the bathtub and the paint is still sticky in some areas.
The company told us that the paint that they were using was an excellent paint by Dunn Edwards.
I would never recommend this company to anybody.
