| - We held our daughter's birthday here. The facilities were fine and the kids enjoyed it. However, we feel the price was high, and the pricing deceptive. For that reason, I can't recommend. My wife signed up online, but the event was more expensive than the website indicated (the price shown was for mid-week). Turns out weekends are more expensive (we learned that after we put down a deposit). We ordered the more expensive, all-inclusive package. However, over the subsequent phone calls, the representative consistently wanted to upsell us with extras, like a birthday cake (extra $35?), and food for the adults ($?). Why doesn't the top package include a birthday cake? Our party was eight children and the event lasted two hours. The total bill was came to over $450. Pump-it-up automatically added a $67 gratuity. There was no upfront communication that a gratuity was expected, and again I felt deceived. And really, $67 for two hours of watching kids play and serving them pizza? Does this place not pay its employees a wage? The staff was nice and did a fine job, so I left them $40. I escaped Pump-it-up for under $450. I'm glad I didn't spend even more on the add-ons. Still, the kids had a good time. I think a fair price for 8 kids would be around $250, or $275 with gratuity included. As it stands, I feel taken advantage of.
