  • We have used this studio for our yearly family portraits for the past 4 years. As with any portrait studio, it has its ups and downs...and keep I mind the old rule of "you get what you pay for". I too, utilize their great holiday deals, but, have no problem paying for good photos. We have 2 boys, 6 yr and 2 yr. As usual we do our best to make our appointment 1st thing in the morning or right after nap time. Sometimes, doing this doesn't make a difference, especially when we get stuck waiting 30-45 min past our appointment time. In the past we have managed to get through it, work with a good photographer, and get the good pictures we wanted. This year was the same as usual, except, we had a photographer by the name of Justin V. If you can help it, request anyone but him. Either he hates his job or he just doesn't have it in him to take pictures of rambunctious toddlers. We have managed in the past with other photographers but this guy had no desire to put any effort in staging us as a family or with the boys alone. We have a 2 year old...sometimes it takes a little time and coaxing to get what you want from them. At the end of our miserable session and it was time to choose photos, we had to skip over so many because they were so bad! We spent almost a $100 less this year than we have in the past because of this. We will not be returning to this studio next year.
