  • I have had this company for almost a year and have had decent alarm monitoring services during that time. My review is not on the alarm service itself, which is actually monitored by a third party, but on the deceitfully perfect reviews. This company specifically uses it's ratings as their number one selling point. This is misleading given that customers receive a discount for writing such great reviews. Upon signing my contract, I was offered a month of free service if I wrote a five star review. I did not do so as I had just initiated the service and doing so would have been deceptive to future customers. Now, enough time has gone by for a thorough review and although the service has been fine (not good, not bad), I don't feel they have earned a five star review knowing that customers are incentivized for writing them. Also, in order to only pay the monthly service fee without putting any money down, this company makes a HARD hit inquiry on your credit report which can negatively effect your credit score. Initially, I was drawn to this company based on their five star rating. I would not have signed a contract had I known that customers were compensated for these reviews.
