Nice rooms but that's where it ends. This place leaves much to be desired.
Starting with the rooms, the bathroom sink leaks and water collects outside on the counter making a mess.
The TV remotes are ancient and making it difficult to enter channel numbers. To operate the TV one has to scroll through all the channels one-by-one. If you increase or reduce volume, the next time the remote is used to change channels, the TV doesn't work to change channel - instead it changes the volume. There was no card or paper channel list. Ugh!!
The buffet restaurant has unimpressive food most of which is clearly slop from the previous days leftovers. Most of the wait staff are cranky and visibly discontent especially the elderly blondes.
The pool staff is nice except for the lifeguards, they are tense and just give death stares they have a special stare for people with babies. I would venture to say that families and children are not their favorite. While writing this review, I took a break to swim and during that time I observed the pool staff closely. After more observation, it is clear that they may be dealing with just being really hot, bored and hot. So they get a pass.
I requested to use cutlery from their kitchen and was told I would have to pay a room service fee and gratuity. Mind you, I was willing to fetch them from the kitchen or front desk. Such rubbish!
The rooms don't have coffee makers, and the coffee they have for guests is lukewarm never hot. Ludicrous!
The only saving grace is that most of the employees are friendly and willing to offer assistance.
