I walked into Aum Yoga out of curiosity this morning and decided to check out the pricing, classes etc. that Aum Yoga offered.
My main interest was hot yoga. After approaching the receptionist (probably the owner), I was informed that he did not have any printed schedules and It was a waste of paper to print schedules for classes.
Then he went on explaining why hot yoga has absolutely no benefit and suggested I should join a regular gym to break an occasional sweat.
He was polite, yet discouraging and went on telling me he cant afford to offer more classes because he doesnt have enough clients etc.. (I wondered why...) he continued talking and made sure I lose my appetite for ever going back there. On my way out, I suggested that he should always have printed brochures that included scheduling and the different classes that were offered. Overall, I was very dissappointed and felt bad...that he (the owner) lost a potential customer :(
P.s. Never ever scare customers away, it might only cost you your business.
