  • I've been frequenting Beehive since I lived in the southside during my crazy college days. There's been a few changes throughout the years, but it still remains a quirky, chill, hangout spot. The decor is eclectic garage sale chic. The laid back vibe plus the right amount of seating options and electrical outlets make this an ideal spot to get some work or studying done. They do serve alcoholic beverages, so I'm guessing it gets a little more rowdy as day turns into night. I've never been here past 7pm so I can't actually attest to that, though. Beehive serves up maté lattes, one of my favorite hot beverages, so bonus points for that. Not the best maté I've ever had, but pretty darn good. They also offer up a pretty good selection of food, sandwiches, soups, wraps. A lot of vegetarian options!
