| - Ridiculous portions at a reasonable price!
Since this is almost the only decent breakfast at this end of Downtown Las Vegas (Dupar's closed and MTA requires walking through the homeless hoard), I expected the standards to be less than stellar. I mean, really, they have no competition.
What I found was a delightfully clean, efficiently run, full service diner.
Kudos to the Hostess (I am sorry that I did not get her name, BUT, she had purple braids, so maybe that will identify her?) who made arrangements for us to accommodate a dietary restriction for someone in our party. This was real customer service!
Our Server made his dislike of the accommodation clear, but adhered to (it looked like he complained to the Hostess).
We were also impressed by the older gentleman in the red shirt and jeans who brought our food. His demeanor was that of Hoosier and someone who had a stake in the place. It is great to see that work ethic.
A solidly nice, homey, experience.
