A single Star - tired beer selection and incredibly average pub food.
A good pub needs to be about the beer in my opinion - it's that simple! I honestly think Scotland Yard has one of the poorest beer selection in the city. Many options from Molson / Coor's and Rickard's - zzzzzzzzzzzz........ Never thought I would every ask for a Molson Stock Ale and pay for it. The safest beer bets would be one of the few irish selections.
The beer menu included a craft beer category with just two choices - Mill Street Tankhouse Ale & Organic. With so many amazing Ontario craft beers - this is a sad list. Almost insulting.
Food was greasy, overcooked and completely uninspired.
The pub's decor is a rather dated - I used to visit here 15-20 years ago when I didn't know better.
On the plus side, they have darts and a multi-player electronic trivia game.
P.S. Why do so many people here smell like cigerette smoke? Yeesh.... So unpleasent.
