  • So today I was in the mood for some Poutine and red wine (don't knock it till you try it!). Poutineville in the Annex gave me exactly what I was looking for. I had the "Poutinville Special" - which was AMAZING! It was Poutine composed of crushed fries (house special) with their signature red wine gravy (not too salty - just right), gooey cheese curds and mozzarella, along with braised beef that's been cooked for 12 hours ... And you can tell because it melts in your mouth. And seriously .. Try it with a full bodied glass of Cabernet Sauvignon .. It's the perfect combo! Great service at Poutinville (thanks Chris) .. They even allow you to build your own Poutine .. Definitely gonna check this place out again.
