I've been to several CrossFit gyms. Most were the negative stereotype of what makes CrossFit bad. Upper Limit is different. While almost all gyms say that they are for everyone at any level, most CrossFit experiences are just the opposite. Unless you have been there for a while and are competitive, you never belong or are accepted by the community.
Upper Limit was the opposite. There was a warm and friendly atmosphere that is unlike any gym i've ever belonged. The sense of community is unparalleled. Their coaching staff are not only quality, but are engaging and care about things like technique and form, not just how fast or how heavy you can lift something improperly.
There is a difference between most Crossfit coaches being facilitators of the WOD (workout of the day) and a real coaches that do just that...teach and coach.
If you are competitive, super fit, or have injuries and are a complete beginner I highly recommend at the very least stopping in and experiencing what they have to offer before committing elswhere
