| - The day I went in to sign up, it was the middle of the day and there were very few people in the establishment. I based my decision to join on this, plus the gem of a free weight room on the first floor. Now that I have been a member for a few months, I regret it. It's always packed. I always have to wait in line for equipment. It's a constant changing up of my routine in order to be accommodatingly polite and to expect the same in return. Upon further inspection, that gem of a free weight room is filled with old, rusted, weights - and not nearly enough to share with the 8 - 12 huge guys that are in that room at any given time. Overall, the staff is nice, but dont expect them to remember who you are after signing that contract. I feel like they should be doing more to arrange fun activities or just be more approachable in general, based on the sales pitch I was given. The pool is small, and having to share it with 30 senior citizens on any given day is not much fun. Ive definitely worked out in worse clubs, but I dont think I will be re-upping, primarily due to the large turnout on any given day, at any given time. Price is the best feature of this club. I was able to join with no ridiculous enrollment fee that so many other clubs make you pay up front, and the $44 a month auto debited from my bankcard is super convenient and affordable, and even given the drawbacks I listed, I feel this is still a value.
