  • I love this store and will often brave Chinook Centre (even on a weekend) just to get here. I'd describe this place as simply awesome, but that doesn't do it justice. I learned about Discovery Hut while looking for Kid Robot vinyl art and collectibles and this place has a great selection. They also have a great supply of plush and other vinyl art, and are so very up to date on new releases. DH also has more games than I could ever play, but I'm willing to try. The Playmobil selection makes me wish I were younger so I could start my collection all over again from scratch. The lunch boxes are adorable and very, very tempting. I can't really speak to the toys for younger kids, but I see a lot of variety. Even better than the products are the staff. Not only are they very helpful and well-informed, they're enthusiastic without being pushy. This place is going to clean me out, but I'll be broke and happy! eta: If you are a serious Kid Robot collector, I recommend following the Discovery Hut on Facebook. They post about new stock and it's especially helpful to know about limited products that they bring in.
